If you ever found yourself on an mountain leadership course with me you'd hear me witter on about the Position Of Maximum Effectiveness.

This is Missy's.

She has carefully calculated that from three stairs down from the kitchen (we're an upside down house) she can wedge herself through the banister and
(a) ascertain what we are doing in the bedroom (we're pretty sure she now recognises walking clothes...)
(b) keep an eye on the hallway to the front and back doors
&
(c) remain comfortingly close to the biscuit barrel
