Worm Moon

I was out on the patio after middnight, practising some hand held photo's of the "Worm Moon", a full one for this month and the last of this winter!

It's name Worm Moon is given here - the ground thaws, worms appear and Robins return! It's other names in other parts of the world are given with reasons.

I'm glad I took it last night as tonight it's pouring with rain (again) and nothing is showing in the sky!
