Strange

I was accommodated overnight in the hotel near the OU campus that used to be the Hilton - it's now called the Delta. The restaurant and bar have had a makeover but the bedrooms are exactly the same. However, I noticed a book under the bedside table and thought that I didn't remember the Hilton providing a Gideon bible. Had a look and was surprised to see the Book of Mormon. The hotel is now run by Marriott - are they based in Utah, I wonder?

Had a long and, in parts, interesting day of presentations and info about maths and physical science courses, and in the evening a dinner and a talk about astronomy using the OU's telescopes on Tenerife. The food was an improvement on the Hilton's I think. The astronomy was good too!
