Spring is in the Air

'The Norfolk Coast Path runs for 84 miles from Hunstanton to Hopton-on-Sea, with much of this walking trail running through the dramatic landscape of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.  This is according to the Norfolk County Council website.

We walked a tiny portion of it today along the beach at Cley.  It was still cold and windy but the birds definitely think Spring is on the way.  We were treated to the sound of skylarks, a cetti's warbler, redshanks and the sight and sound of displaying and calling lapwings.  Magical!

Not quite so magical was me walking a bit to close to the sea and a large wave sloshing a load of water over the top of my wellies...my socks are still drying on the radiator!
