Big deal? 1/3 off cat?

A "gannin on" kinda day. Downtown in the "Ayfullness of the Emm" quick purchases for the use of, an unscheduled Bank-raid and, of course, the ubiquitous cuppa at #15.

Thence back to base for a goodly portion of Gaffer's Crab Chowder(ish), or maybe, more accurately, it's Crab(ish) Chowder.

CC's removals proceeding apace, I was press-ganged volunteered to supply transport &/or 1/2 the muscle whilst The man & I did a couple of bouts of cooker shifting, 1st shift being downstairs from on high.

As we entered the "other" Co-op, shopping, I spotted this wee beastie, bothering nobody and sitting just below the hot-air curtain which now seems obligatory in all/most shops these days: and right underneath a sign telling us "BIG DEAL 1/3 off". From a distance it looks like 1/3 of the cat since the "Soft white toilet tissue" is in MUCH smaller print. I'm quite fond of other folk's cats so I made a minor fuss of in going in, and leaving: on both occasions I treated to a "Meow" in greeting.

Today's contenders:- A puzzling Christmas present or 2, a fine crop of "Wurrums" seen while shuffling compost in a generally downward direction in my N.Z. 3 tier compost bin and the massive 1/2" of snow we've accrued, just deep enough for a blackbird to sink to ground level less than 1/4" below snow surface. Lawn still green.
