Had a frustrating start to the dauy when the internet went down sometime in the night. This meant that the internet radio did not wake me to the Today programme. Then went to Talgarth instead of Hay to start the day- only 8 snowy miles out. Despite this I finished on time in the morning and I sneaked home at lunch time to try and snap a few shots but only had 10 mins. Camera out , turned it on , no CF card, swearing, mad shuffling to find the cards which were in the car 'somewhere' . Cards found now had 5 mins left. SHot a few ice crystals but realised the kit lens that came with my camera aint no macro. After work was busy clearing snow from my driveway and taking Miss E to Hip Hop in Brecon so it was after 10 when I got the camera out again. Inspired by a couple of the light painting blips I've seen I had a go. Great fun. Realise I need to buy a flash gun to do it properly and also learn more of F's and shutter speeds.Possibly buy an ND filter. Still, fun time in the garden while MrJ watched football. Interesting effect.
