Savannah

Clocks sprung forward this morning in US , Lost an hour! it was dark when I woke at 0600.
After breakfast we set off north east to St Augustine, one of the oldest settlements from early 1500s, had a quiet around, a lovely day brisk fresh breeze from the sea. Lunch in Harry’s outside of it’s the gas burners keeping us busy warm, a delicious lunch of redfish topped with a crab crust .....yummy ! And a delicious ice cream cone to follow!
Continued our journey north to Savannah, arrived late afternoon, at check in at the hotel we were given a glass of champagne! What a welcome!
We then had a walk about , lovely architecture, found a really good restaurant for a bite to eat .....only an appetiser after Our large lunch!
On return to the hotel we had to check out the roof bar......rude not too! :)

A very grand day indeed!
