A Garden Day

I promised myself an afternoon in the garden today. It was quite chilly in the morning but warmed to about 50 F this afternoon (10 C) and it was partly sunny. Warm enough to wear a vest and shirt sleeves. I got a lot done - what joy it is for me to be in my garden. Things are really popping up...but then there are plants that have yet to even make the slightest bit of appearance. Great fun to see the changes every day.

I bought this ranunculus yesterday during our grandmother/grandkid outing to the nursery. I just love these flowers...they are so luscious and complex and of course provide endless opportunity for blips.
