Snowed in Day #2

Following on from yesterday's going nowhere, I was starting to get a bit twitchy, cabin fever if you like - nott being able to get the car out, nor getting Ferguson to pre-school, aswell as having "work from home" looming over me.
Despite this lovely scenic view, my day took a mega mega depressing turn, which lead me to go to bed in some sort of death spiral.
My external hard drive containing my life for like the past 10 years decided to fail.
What else can be said about that..?
I don't hold out much hope for data recovery....
Utterly devastated cannot describe it.
