Last one...

...for a few weeks anyhow.

This morning Kartoffel went and sat by the door. I decided I'd pop her harness on and see if she wanted to explore the back green.

She got one flight down the stairs and turned tail to run back up (possibly smelling the two cats in the next flat down). I crouched to get her up on to her rucksack and then she was happy, standing on my shoulder watching where we went. She wasn't too keen on the damp grass but we did a lap of the perimeter whilst she explored.

Something spooked her in the stairwell and she got hissy at me. Couldn't get her back on the rucksack and once up to the first flat she couldn't understand why she had two more flights of stairs to go. She finally forgave me and came for cuddles late in the afternoon.

She's back home now until the end of the month.
