I hear that people in some parts of the world are going crazy about stockpiling stuff in case the plague gets them. Luckily it's more relaxed here: the only panic buying is in Summer by the Brit tourists who demand stocks of Marmite and sun cream, and at other times by the locals who overdose on flowers and sickly cakes and huge hams at fiesta times.
