Longer days

Another splendid day.  The trees are in bud and while walking Murray on the rec I heard the woodpecker drumming several times from the bordering gardens.  
The birds are visiting the bird feeder more frequently.  There us a large crow with same patches of grey on its tail feathers that has been visiting.  Strangely it's more timid than the blackbirds which remain at least a foot away from me as I exit the back door.
