Roxie Comes Home

We were quite worried about Roxie last night. She went out early yesterday and didn't come back all day. This isn't terribly unusual. Both she and Ellie have always had a habit of doing this from time to time.

But with Lickey having been transformed into something resembling a polar ice cap this week, we didn't like to think of her being stuck outside all night. She still wasn't back this morning.

Mid-morning I was looking out the kitchen window taking photos of the birds on the feeder when she finally appeared, leaping into the garden in an unsuccessful blackbird hunt (fortunately she is hopeless at it). I took this photo as she came slinking up the garden path with this very guilty look on her face.
