what a mess

I was really stuck today of what picture to take so here is a really boring one.

This is the car park behind Egham High Street where a waitrose and Travel lodge are being Built.
There has already been disruption in the high at the end of last year as the council widened the road to provide extra parking which will not be used as the high street is closed to traffic between 10:30 -4
For the first hour in 'The Kitchen' all i could hear was banging as the builders are demolitioning the unit next to ours. at one point i thought they wanted to join me as I cooked the soup!

from time to time I will take a photograph and put an update on progress here. doubt if that will be again for several months. progress in the early stages is always slow.

last summer the car park was dug up in various areas to make sure there were no Roman remains. They found lots of bones which turned out to be animal but no Roman remains.
