Better safe than sorry

A lovely birthday surprise day started with a breakfast of vegan sausage sandwiches and fancy tea followed by blueberry pancakes* at the Fat Rabbit in Oswestry. Then it was on to Lion Quays for a spa morning and massage (that I apparently really needed) before a drive over to Conwy for a brewery tour.
Conwy Brewery is hidden away down a narrow lane at the top of a hill overlooking the sea. It's only a small place with its own micropub on site but it didn't suffer for that and although we couldn't have much to drink there because if driving, we did get a few to take home. Health and safety meant we had to wear hi-viz in the brewery -expertly modelled by Louisa here- even though nothing was technically happening at the time.
