Sledging

Miss Pink's first sledging afternoon on proper slopes.

We ALL had a lie in this morning, which was much needed and very lovely. It started snowing late morning, fine snow but consistent. And it carried on all afternoon until late in the evening.

We decided to take the children out to play in case the snow was short lived. We went with our neighbours to one of the places my parents took us kids when we were little. It was beautiful over there and when we got to the sledging hill it was noisy and full of laughter. I personally am scared stiff of hurtling down a hill, regardless of snow to fall on! However the mini pinks fully embraced it. Miss Pink really surprised me with her confidence and was having a blast going down the small slope on her own. Master Pink was a bit more cautious but by the time I took miss Pink home (she was worn out) he was whizzing down the big slope with the rest of them.
Back at home miss Pink and I warmed up with hot chocolate and Tom and Jerry . The boys came back after it was dark, exhausted and very happy!
