Snow Baby

Alex decided to stay in Hull with the girls for the weekend & enjoy the snow there, so it was just Ferguson & I at home all weekend.
After the usual Saturday obligations, cleaning chores & food shopping, I got nominated as the "grown up" chaperone for some sledging at the reservoir.

Ferguson had much zeal at first, having anticipated the snowfall since before Christmas, & eagerly wanted to go it alone.
Reluctantly I let him....Predictably, he fell in a big snowy heap almost immediately and that then seemed to put him off "forever"
Despite the tumble, subsequent frozen fingers & toes & accompanying tears, we had a really lovely day.
I really enjoyed the outrageously leisurely mummy & son time.
