Believe

When pigs fly " is an adynaton, a way of saying that something will never happen. The phrase is often used for humorous effect, to scoff at over-ambition.


But when you see a pig with wings at a shop you just have to wonder if there might be truth to pigs flying in some other universe!   We can always choose to believe in what we don't know for sure!  


And we can choose NOT to  believe what the media feeds us to cause mass hysteria and worry.     Didn't "they" tell us we would die in Y2K,  from SARS , bird flu, swine flu, ebola, etc and etc.  I think we already passed several years when the earth would be destroyed.    Yes, people do die from the flu and viruses but they also die from pneumonia when a common cold is not treated properly or worst yet from heart disease and cancer.  Or a car wreck.  


Wash your hands.   Maybe this will help.   Of course, everything we get at the store has already been touched by several someone else's hands.  Did they wash their hands or use gloves?   Do we need to wipe boxes of food or meat and bread wrappers,  canned goods.   What to do?    Scare tactics and ways to keep people watching the "news".   


 Help the economy by doing what you normally do.  Travel, eat out, shop, go to school, visit friends.  Buy new summer clothes.    Love your people.      


Live your normal life without fear.  Believe in what you know for sure.
