Tales of the unexpected

Today's photo shows the view on this gloriously warm sunny Saturday as Sandy and I arrived at the vets this morning to collect Gentle and bring him home after a week of veterinary care. He is much better, if not fully recovered.  

A lazy day with Gentle and Harry at home was my intention, followed by going to the pub to watch the rugby this evening, when plans changed as the result of a burst of WhatsApp chat that resulted in Graham being on the road from Akbuk, Istanbul bound.  So I went to the supermarket to get some vittles to sustain us both during the game which we'd be watching at home.  He arrived just as England and Wales sang their anthems, nice timing.
