Timing Is Everything

......... I could tell he was there because I could see his tail

.......... he kept himself hidden and only peeped out now and again to taunt me.

.......... the challenge was on


.......... I took loads of photos ( now deleted) trying to catch him peeping


.......... I huffed and sighed and muttered some unladylike words


........ then ......... BINGO!


.......I was glad it was in focus because I knew I'd not be able to do it again


........ some days they are happy to sit and pose beautifully and others they just want a bit of a game


........ so you haven't got a beautifully posed shot showing all the lovely plumage, you have instead got head, tail and nuts ( no giggling in the back row ) ;-)))

PS - hubby's car passed it's MOT by the way, YAY :-)
