Namur - Rops museum

This ink and pen drawing was made by Maurice Bonvoisin, nickname Mars. He was a friend of Félicien Rops, hence this exhibition in the Rops museum in Namur. The drawing is titled 'Au Mont Saint Michel 'and appeared in an album called 'Plages de Bretagne et de Jersey' in 1888. Mars was the chronicler of the Belle Epoque. His work was published in French, Belgian, English and American newspapers and periodicals.
