There were plenty of Bar Tailed Godwits and a solitary Oyster Catcher and Black Headed Gull on this stretch of the River Deben as Janice and I did out fortnightly Woodbridge walk. The wind was quite cold but it was good to be out in the fresh air.
The farm cafe where we usually indulge in a cup of Earl Grey and cheese scone was packed so we bought some lovely fresh bread rolls and some local ham and took them back to hers. A much better option and a leisurely lunch where we could put the world to rights without the clatter and chatter of the cafe.
