People Play!

The Piece Hall is currently hosting People Play which is an outdoor art installation by Alice Irwin. These distinctive characters are going to be hanging around until the 1st of June. They're fun! 

Talking of distinctive characters a hop around the rural lanes this morning resulted in a sighting of the rheas Ernie, Esmeralda, Emerson and Elaine. Three of the rheas are in the back field and one in the front, with the gate closed. I wonder why one of them has been placed alone?! 

I went to see the new Military Wives film this afternoon; heartwarming and cheery. :-) I recommend!
