Avenue

After a month of postponed fixtures, Bradford (Park Avenue) finally got a game in today, hosting Chester in the National League North.

Avenue are some way adrift at the foot of the table, while Chester have been occupying a play-off spot, but it was the home team that emerged 2-1 winners.

It was a pleasure to have a mini blip meet with @kwchas,  and as a consequence I hung around among the Chester fans for most of the match, which is fair enough given they are one of my most local teams from back home.

Apparently, Avenue are planning to install a 3G pitch over the summer, so this may have been my last visit with the place under grass.
