Lucky sixpence and other disasters

I spotted this cute sixpence gift in town today which will be perfect for Caroline's big day! (but maybe a touch uncomfortable in her shoe?)

Distaster struck my mum this week, she had a fall in the garden on Monday, spent all of yesterday in A&E and was told she'd damaged tissue in her knee. However when she got home the hospital called her back and asked her to attend the fracture clinic today. She has broken a small bone in her knee and is now in a brace and on crutches for six weeks unable to put any weight on that leg. Quite the nightmare as she's technically my Dad's carer but hopefully things will work out. just breathe!
