Daffodils, Culross.
This morning found us in Culross seeking a relatively dry venue for a walk. Dry it was but very breezy with quite a severe chop on the grey waters of the Forth.
However, the gardens were moderately tranquil and the daffs were about at their peak.
Back in the car park, we were met by a group of huskies, Chloe as usual, wanted to stay and say hello to these rather large wolf creatures!
We also had a somewhat unpleasant task this morning. About 100 yards from our gate, we spotted a roe deer lying dead on the pavement and reported it to the local council who said they would deal with it. Later, we saw it gone and thought that was the end of the matter but then discovered that the poor creature had just been heaved over the wall I to the adjacent field. About as much use as a trap door on a canoe!
