Not what it seems
SAS Training
Be afraid...very afraid...I am an SAS trained professional! This book is not to be confused with my other book however (the SAS Survival Guide Handbook). It does in fact mean SAS the software company that supplies Business Analytics applications.
So, boring old me I am afraid. I could be first on the draw with Statistics, damn lies and more statistics. I could knock up a great 'Box Jenkins or Holt Winters' forecasting model using time series data, but as for killing and skinning a rabbit...forget it (well, actually - funny you should say that as we did use to skin rabbits which for some reason used to appear hanging up in our shed - living near the countryside and all).
So, SAS for Dummies is not so interesting as it first appears, unless you are a Data Scientist or a Statistician. It is a useful book however as forewarned is forearmed in this new and revolutionary world of 'Big Data'. We are now awash with facts, figures and real-time data. Our lives are controlled by it, in a world of constant surveillance. Your supermarket knows more about you than close members of your family. It is a really scary world - driven by BI companies and clever data analysts.
Be afraid....Be very afraid.....
