making cookies

the day started with Master Pink communicating in the language of scream and Miss Pink deciding she wants to be a beach volleyball player.

We had a visit from the washing machine repair man, and he tried his very best to give the old machine the kiss of life. He didn't manage to revive her (washing machines are shes aren't they?) but did say he try to get her either written off or order the relevant part in to repair her. We are hoping for the former, but expect the latter!

After he'd left I suggested that the mini pinks stop climbing the walls and decorate the gingerbread that Miss Pink and I had made. Some of the icing made it on to the biscuits.
