Driving home

What a day.

My husband and I travelled up to the Midlands to see my ailing father. There was not much opportunity for blipping today. It was a real rollercoaster of a day: Seeing Dad so frail and he is very much losing his dignity. It was sad to see him confused at times, and just nothing like my Dad, but other times the glimmer of him came back and made me laugh and smile just like he always has. My husband is an absolute rock, and he steered us both through the day.

I thought I would practice my long exposure shots on the motorway whilst driving home.

Not perfect, or probably what they are supposed to look like, but I liked the effect!
