Wide-eyed

E's attention to detail and memory is blowing my mind.

Yesterday, and again today, she went into empty or dark rooms at home, whispering "titoe, titoe" which she's picked up from our recent reading of We're Going on a Bear Hunt. A much loved gift from B. She loves the bit where the adventurers reach the cave and tiptoe inside to discover a bear. It's so adorable.

Tonight, she sat so still on the sofa after a good nap and then haddock for tea, big Neily lolling at her side, both of us wide-eyed with wonder and watching the author, Michael Rosen reading his book.
