Suffragette leader Millicent Fawcett

Went on a bike ride in central London today and saw some of the famous women’s statues including this one of Dame Millicent Fawcett in a Parliament Square which was unveiled in 2018. Also see extras for the statue of Mary Seacole ( Nurse in the Crimean War) which is outside St Thomas’s Hospital, unveiled in 2016. International Women’s Day is on Sunday 8th March.
