The Flowers At Our Door
Our area of Fife has been much colder this year than last, based on the electricity consumed by our two heat pumps. They have their own meters and are read every 24 hours. The readings are compared to last year’s equivalent day. February 20 used 23% more than February 19.
Our garden tells its own story as snowdrops and daffodils are quite a bit later.
Today’s Blipfoto shows the flowers at our doorstep which bring a welcome burst of colour.
Still there are signs of Spring with increased bird numbers and other creatures making their presence known.
The coronavirus is very much in the news, and the pronouncements of the political leaders are quite mind boggling especially those who do not believe in science.
However, we can all do our part to protect ourselves.
I have spent most of the day downloading and installing software on to my “big" Mac Pro including Microsoft Windows 10.
You can always rely on Windows to make matters more complicated than they need be.
Luckily LinkedIn Learning has a video course to look at, and it is only 8 hours long.
I have no doubt several Windows fans will be berating Apple.
Having worked with Windows for 28 years and Macs for 20 years Apple know what they are about.
The best advice: RTFM. Read the F...........Manual. These days that requires a lot of searching to find the F......... Manual.
They do exist and there are lots of good video course available.
