Personal Challenge Local walk Day 3

Just so you know, I was not walking up here!

The snow at our altitude had almost all gone this morning and I found the first primrose of the year, all was calm and warm but ..... I looked up at the blue shadows of the Dents du Morcles on my way back and saw the sun's early morning rays were picking out the spindrift, whirling it around the ridges. It must have been violently cold up there. It is amazing what different climates can exist here, within 5 km as the crow flies!
