salt

this image was made with Cornish salt, and charcoal salt inspired by 'the ancient enchanted British forests'.   the salt bowl is made from ash wood.

i fought very hard to save my 3 ash trees at Mary's Cottage, but at present our Planning Laws are so ridiculous that they allow anyone to apply to build wherever & whatever they fancy.  even on land that is not theirs  if you have enough dosh you can get away with pretty much anything.

when i lifted the tiny star shaped aspic cutter the charcoal salt collapsed to form a heart.

i don't know what to make of this.
