Listen to me, comfort me, care for me
I suppose we think of going to the doctor mainly to heal our bodies, but the idea of this sculpture, in a recently-opened health centre, is "enhance a healing environment that promotes self-esteem and well-being".
All sounds a bit arty-farty to me, but it does make for far better surroundings than your average snivelly waiting room.
And I did rather like the wording - 'Listen to me, Comfort me, Care for me, Live in harmony' - it reminded me of the buddhist prayer flags I was used to seeing in Cambodia.
I'm not the praying type, but if I were, these would seem to be a pretty good place to start.
