Threave Castle

Out and about again today .... far too nice to stay home.

The little boat carrying passengers over to Threave Castle wasn't running today so all we were able to do was walk as far as the wee pier and admire the 1369 tower ruins from a distance.

The extra photo shows part of the 800m path from the car park down to the pier .... I'm not good at distances all I know is that 800m is two circuits of an Olympic sized running track. It was such a lovely day the walk was a pleasure.
