The mad Ade
Picked this up on LinkedIn.
Love what Adrian is doing. From the article this is the explanation:
“The scheme, introduced by social enterprise Clean the World, focuses on recycling empty toiletry bottles and discarded soaps from hotel rooms and distributing the recycled products to those who desperately need them.
Through this, Clean the World are able to prevent millions of hygiene-related illnesses each year.
The Lowry Hotel will be shipping all of its half-used soaps – estimated at approximately 50,000 a year – to a recycling centre in Amsterdam. The soap is thoroughly sanitised and then ground into tiny soap ‘noodles’, before being pressed and cut into brand new bars.
These bars are then sent to charities across the globe to be delivered to people in need.”
My question was why Holland, well it seems, as Auds said, because of Elf n safety, hotels aren’t allowed to recycle toiletries and this was him at a PR thing.
Typical Ade!
