Heart Check-Up

ekg, chest x-ray, echo cardiogram....
another year of thumbs up for makiah.

i remember that first day of summer 1999,
catching makiah before he hit the bedroom floor...
his first ride in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Heart operated on several days later...

almost eight and still going strong on his passion for basketball.
