Vote For Cake

It's another referendum and it's another no brainer. This time we are being asked to vote in the official referendum on the Local Neighbourhood Plan. Do we want to save open spaces from development. Do we want to see planning gain funds going in to expanding the local library. Do we want to preserve local historic buildings and do we want to remove street clutter? Errr, what a tough decision.

Despite the dreadful weather there seemed to be a reasonable turnout. And the bonus...

... one of the poll clerk ladies had made bread pudding and brought it in to the church hall. So after I had voted (no inducements can be suggested) I made off with a slice of cake to go with the afternoon cuppa.

So the chant is "Vote For Cake!"
