Snowshoeing, day 1

There has been more snow, of the quite heavy but no wind variety. That means no drifting which is great. A perfect day for as snowshoeing apparently, which is just as well as that what I was going to do anyway.

Most of the trails are down in saas-grund so down I went on the local bus. I hired my snowshoes and set off. I did the first 50m or so without them on so was very pleasantly surpassed how much easier it is to walk in deep snow in them. Like walking on a snow-free path!

I went to through the trees to the first cable car. Very pretty!
