Surprise Lily

I found an orchid pot plant that someone had thrown away a few years ago. It had finished flowering but was still a very nice leafy plant. I had it for a couple of years before it finally died. I left the pot on the windowsill, meaning to use the earth when I planted up a window box. But then this lily started growing out of it! A beautiful flower out of nowhere.
