A first for me

I've never seen one before and never heard of them before but on looking in the birdie book i discovered that i had seen my first Fieldfare. They are on red status and don't normally visit gardens expect in snow when they are seeking out food. So i feel quite lucky to have seen it. It was busy eating the rose hips in the garden but i doubt it will be back as it polished the lot off.
