Bursting Forth

I like the Blackthorn blossom beginning to show this morning (other shots are available).
Not so keen on the gradual damming of the burn.
I am surprised that the Council workmen didn't do something about it when they were digging drainage channels to take the flooding away from the footpath to said burn (it was much drier under foot I have to say).

The weather was rather nice and remarkably warm  mild today.
I suspect that it will be frosty tomorrow judging by the plummeting temperature when I came away from the craft association meeting this evening.
