Museum of the Moon

It’s not every Monday you get to see the moon up close. The Museum of the Moon exhibition at Rochester Cathedral is about to come to an end so I grabbed my friend to go and see it for ourselves.

A band called Mokum were playing moon-themed songs and the acoustics were amazing in the Nave of the Cathedral. I shared a video to Mokum’s Facebook page if you want to see it here’s the link.

The art installation was created by Luke Jerram and it has toured the world. Each cm of the moon represents 5km of the real moon taken from NASA images.

Quite an experience to see in person.
