Snow Boat

Snow is still on the ground and the temperature below -5c.

So of course I went to look at the boats at the local marina.

I was just taking this shot with my camera balanced on a little pole on the river bank to keep it steady when I became aware of a quiet background noise like distant heavy rain, took me a few moments to realize that it was the ice starting to crack and move as the tide started to come back in.
