Tikka

The kids and staff have hatched out a pair of chickens from the egg, living cosily under a heat lamp for a number of weeks. Just before Christmas, the chickens were old and feathery enough to go outside in a run. I found a few minutes to go and see them, and was amazed how friendly they are, coming up to see you and fussing around the member of staff who has mainly looked after them.
I don't know who named them Tikka and Tandoori, obviously a comedian.
