The Shawl

We spent the day on the island of Captiva, Florida. The highlight was the historic Chapel by the Sea. The building dates back to 1903 and sits just yards away from the Gulf of Mexico. The surrounding area provides various possibilities for quiet meditation. The shawl above was resting on a prayer bench. The experience was deeply spiritual and one I’ll remember for years to come.
