Ferry Cross the Mersey!

I had a meeting this morning at the Cathedral and after lunch I decided to go and have a look at HMS Prince of Wales which arrived in Liverpool last Friday. I'm not mad on ships but this is certainly huge weighing in at 65,000 tonnes with a 280 metre long flight deck. I took some shots from the quayside but as it was in the shade and there was a lot of street furniture in the way I decdied to splah out on a trip on the ferry. The last time I was on the ferry was many years ago and I was leading sixty 7 year olds on a school trip, so although it was very cold today it was defintiely less stressful! The views from the ferry were much better and worth the effort. I even got chatting to a chap who was taking photos too. By the time I got home I had over 200 shots so these are I think the best 2 (see extra) I hope you like them.
