Nice night tonight at Toppings bookstore listening to Annie Gray talk about Geraldine Landemare, who was Churchill’s cook for many years.

Annie was a really engaging speaker, aided by the fascinating history (much more about Geraldine than Winston) she’d uncovered.

Really looking forward to a talk by Dr Adam Rutherford on racism at the end of next week now. People who truly know their subjects inside out, and have a passion for them, I could listen for hours.
