Nerja

Another day another port. Today we are in Nerja, a pretty village about 40Kms east of Malaga.

Being Sunday there are lots of people around. We wandered the old town and the beach walks. When we sat at a bar in the main square the birds were making an incredible amount of noise. These are small green parrot like birds. Pretty but very noisy as they chatter to each other.

Slightly scary moment when we retuned to our hire car. There were traffic bollards closing off the road. The bollards had not been there when we parked, and most of the other cars that had been parked nearby had already left. It seems the roads had been closed off for some reason (probably connected with Carnival). Luckily we were able to "escape" the trap, though a police car had to move to let us out.
